Celebrating Local Heroes for Children

In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, we take time to celebrate those in Lorain County who are doing admirable work to improve the lives of children. Our Heroes for Children Luncheon has been such a success for the last 4 years and we are excited to host our 5th Annual Luncheon on Friday, April 24th, 2026 at Tom’s Country Place in Avon.

Around 275 guests join us to celebrate our honorees. Last year’s honorees (most pictured), come from various backgrounds, from educators, social workers, and foster parents to founders and directors of organizations that serve and provide for our youth.
