Blessing House serves as a safety net for families in crisis by providing a safe shelter for children and support for their families. Children stay with us for a short time while their parents/caregivers address their situations.

1) Care of children (Duties vary on each shift)
2) Housekeeping
First Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM
Third Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekend availability is required for first and second shift.
We schedule our staff using a fixed 2 week rotating schedule that allows you to know when you are scheduled to work. If you want to work only one or two days a week, or if you would like to work up to 4 days a week, we will work with you to accommodate your schedule if possible. If you are interested in working strictly as PRN, please contact us.
20 hours of training, including CPR and First Aid, are provided once the initial requirements are met and screening is completed. This training takes place at Blessing House during weekday work hours.
